DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 40th Anniversary of DOR – “Bridging Borders – Carry the Light of Justice” \nDate: Sunday\, February 17\, 2019 \nTime: 2pm – 4pm \nLocation: AMC Kabuki 8 Theatres Japantown San Francisco \n$8 Suggested donation & All are welcome! \nPROGRAM \nThis year\, the community will commemorate 40 years since the first Bay Area Day of Remembrance (DOR) program back in 1979\, on Sunday\, Feb. 17\, 2019 at the AMC Kabuki 8 Theatres in Japantown from 2-4 pm.  Our theme is: “40th Anniversary of DOR: Bridging Borders – Carrying the Light for Justice.” \nOur keynote speaker will be Reverend Deb Lee\, the Executive Director of the Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity. In addition\, the Dr. Clifford I. Uyeda Peace and Humanitarian Award will be presented to Carole Hayashino\, long-time Bay Area leader and one of the organizers of the first San Francisco Bay Area DOR in 1979.
