LATENT AUGUST: Legacy of Hiroshima & Nagasaki – An Exhibit

July 11, 2025 at 12:00 pm - September 30, 2025 at 5:00 pm
  • « Drag Performance and Asian American and Pacific Islander LGBTQ2S+ Social Mixer
  • 2025 Annual Members Luncheon Meeting & Genealogy Workshop »

Most Americans view the dropping of the atomic bomb from an aerial view, a massive impressive mushroom cloud. Most Japanese see the bombing from the ground, with all the human cost and devastation.

As Japanese Americans, born and raised in America, we are positioned to see the atomic bombing from both vantage points. Thus, now more than ever, it is imperative tat we bring all these perspectives into view and move toward a greater understanding of nuclear warfare and its implications today.

Come visit LATENT AUGUST: The Legacy of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
