Featured at History Days at the Old US Mint will be invited special guest speakers
Steve Okamoto, former Foster City councilman, and Tanforan Memorial Plaza Project
and Hiroshi Kashiwagi, author, poet & actor will share their personal stories of incarceration of
Japanese Americans during WWII. Mr. Kashiwagi will read selections from his published works
Swimming in the American, Ocean Beach, Starting from Loomis which will be available for sale.
The Event is Free. WWII Eviction Posters and Nikkei Heritage issues will be available for free on a first-come,
first serve basis. One issue per person, please.
