Japantown Cultural and Historical Walking Tour

Join us in a guided tour through San Francisco Japantown with an emphasis on the history and culture of the Japanese American community in San Francisco.

Tours by request: Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 5:00pm. Fill out the tour request so we can plan the tour to fit your group’s interests. A docent-led tour is $20 per person and $15 per student (Starting on Septeber 15, 2025, our new rate will be $25 per person and $20 per student). The minimum require for a tour is 10 people. Advance payment is required and Fee is not refundable after 48 hours before the tour. MIS Historic Learning Center Tour

Join us in guided tour of the original home of the Fourth Army Intelligence School Building 640 in the Presidio of San Francisco. The tour focuses on immigration, incarceration, military service, and post war occupation.

Docent led tours of the MIS Historic Learning Center are by request Wednesday-Friday, 10:00am – 5:00pm. Please fill out the tour request so we can plan the tour to fit your group’s interests. A docent-led tour is $20 per person ($5 tour fee, $15 admission)(Starting on Septeber 15, 2025, our new rate will be $25 per person and $20 per student). The minimum require for a tour is 10 people. Veterans, Members of NJAHS, and children under 12 receive free admission. Advance payment is required and Fee is not refundable after 48 hours before the tour.
