SF Japantown Peace Gallery
The NJAHS Peace Gallery showcases exhibits on many issues and themes relating to the Japanese American experience. Exhibits are free to the public and are typically changed every three to six months. Some of the past exhibits have been on Camp Art; Origami; Baseball in the Nikkei Community and more. We welcome drop-ins and can host classroom or classroom fieldtrip outings with our docent-led Cultural and Historical Japantown Walking Tours.
Also in the Peace Gallery is the NJAHS Resource Library. You are free to do research for class assignments or for personal inquisitiveness using our many new and out of print titles. The NJAHS Gift Shop is also located in the Peace Gallery. Stop by to browse and purchase pertinent books or find that perfect gift for friend or family.
